We are two electrical engineering students doing our Master's Thesis as a Minor Field Study on small-scale hydro systems in rural Mozambique. This blog is about the adventures we encounter during our ten weeks abroad, but also about the preparation, all good advice we've got and what might just have been time spent sleepless worring about completely unnecessary things.

Two photos

Here comes two photos from the first days... The first is Kajsa on the train through the Swedish landscape and the second is the room we are staying in now, with me in the cupboard.

The French couple was super nice by the way and the onces staying in the room next to them too. We sat on their roof a couple of hours overlooking Maputo. We move in tomorrow.

Today we seek the fish market and the prawns. And the beaches. How the project is going? We are still waiting for our contact at the university here in Maputo to get back from South Africa. As soon as he is here things will start happening!
