We are two electrical engineering students doing our Master's Thesis as a Minor Field Study on small-scale hydro systems in rural Mozambique. This blog is about the adventures we encounter during our ten weeks abroad, but also about the preparation, all good advice we've got and what might just have been time spent sleepless worring about completely unnecessary things.

The way to success goes through hard work...

Today has been a bit of a roller coaster ride in productivity. The morning started like most mornings. We looked at the post-it wall. Moved some notes. Added some (the wall is starting to look empty now).

Today was the prioritising day when our scope was meant to be narrowed down. Then, Kajsa started to feel like she was falling. Yes, that is correct, she was sitting in front of me feeling like she was falling of her chair. The malaria prophylaxis did it's trick and she was experiencing her body in many new exciting ways. Not so exciting for me watching her.

This was not really as bad as it sounds because she already decided to switch to another kind of  medicine yesterday. The only downside (apart from the price) is that Kajsa is grumpy for not being as fierce and as much of a viking as me who can cope with the side effects. Ha!

So, after that, this day turned into a pretty (here comes a small pause in writing where I've been looking up the word "flummig" which gave alternatives like wishy-washy, dopey, muddled. I don't think any of them are good enough, or I don't feel comfortable enough using any of them so I choose:) random day. When I brows through my tabs now, four hours later I find the following:

Well, hello there

And this

And also the lyrics to this:

Hello productivity!

Anyways, Kajsa and I are not waiting for the world to change, we are going to change it. Might not be the most revolutionary change, but hey, we've got to start somewhere.
